11 New Coronavirus Cases In Qatar, Total Now 481

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) announced 11 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Qatar, bringing the total number of cases to 481.

MOPH published a statement saying most of the new cases are linked to travellers who recently entered the State of Qatar, two of them being Qatari citizens, while others are expatriates. The new confirmed cases have been put in complete sanitary isolation, and are receiving appropriate medical care.

MOPH is continuing to research, investigate and expand the search scope to conduct the necessary tests. All individuals who came from abroad are subject to quarantine or home quarantine.

“The Ministry of Public Health announces the registration of 17 similar cases of recovery, including 4 cases of Qatari citizens and 11 cases of expatriates, bringing the total number of people recovered to 27 in the State of Qatar.​” MOPH published on their website.
