110,000 People Used The COVID-19 Drive-Through Vaccination Centers

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced that more than 110,000 people have used the COVID-19 Drive-Through Vaccination Centers at Lusail and Al Wakra.

The COVID-19 Drive-Through Vaccination Centers Ramadan working hours is from 1 PM to Midnight every day, with the last entry at 11 PM.

People must be in cars (maximum of 4 people), even taxis are permitted, but people on foot will not be vaccinated. 

Only second doses are available at the drive-through centers. People should wait until their second dose is due, which is 21 days after the first dose for Pfizer/BionTech and 28 days for Moderna, as no second dose vaccines would be given sooner.

People who come to the Drive-Through Center will be seen in the order that they arrive. You may have to wait a while other people are seen first during busy times. 

The Ministry recommended people to bring a drink or snack in case the wait was longer than expected. The also advised people to avoid bringing children (if possible) in case of a delay. In addition, plan your visit when you do not have any important appointment within the next few hours.
