238 New Cases of Coronavirus

On 11th March 2020, the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) announced 238 new confirmed cases of coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) in the State of Qatar.
MOPH says the new confirmed cases were registered from those who were in quarantine as part of the precautionary measures. There are a total of 262 confirmed Coronavirus cases in Qatar.
The Ministry reassures the public that all patients and their contacts have been quarantined and are undergoing tests to ensure they are free from the virus. MOPH said the patients are admitted to the hospital under complete isolation, are in a stable condition and are receiving medical care for the same.
“The ministry urges all members of the public to take all preventative measures to ensure their safety and that of the community and to refer to the Ministry’s website for more information and the latest developments on COVID-19. The MOPH has also set up a dedicated, round-the-clock call centre to answer all questions and inquiries related to COVID-19. The hotline number is 16000 and is toll-free.” MOPH mentioned on their website.
