The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) announced 251 new cases of coronavirus and 28 recoveries from the virus, bringing the total number of people to have recovered to 275. The Ministry also regretfully announced one new death due to coronavirus.
According to the MOPH website, the new cases are due to people having been in contact with positive cases among citizens and residents. The new infected cases have been placed under complete isolation and they are receiving necessary medical care.
MOPH announced the registration of the death of a 42-year-old resident infected with coronavirus who was suffering from existing chronic diseases. The Ministry extends condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased.
MOPH calls on all members of society to stay at home and not to go out except where absolutely necessary. They also request all members of society to cooperate fully and adhere to all health guidelines and preventive measures to reduce the risk of infection, including sticking to social and physical distancing guidelines.
