Additional Closures To Prevent Spread Of Coronavirus

The Ministry Of Public Health (MOPH) announced additional closures of some elective health services in all private healthcare facilities in Qatar to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Noora Abdulla Mohamed Al-Mulla, Acting Director at The Healthcare Facilities Licensing & Accreditation Department announced that all private healthcare facilities will have to stop providing the following medical services, except for emergencies:

1. Dental clinics
2. Dermatology and laser clinics
3. Plastic surgery clinics
4. Surgical procedures
5. Diet and slimming centres
6. Physiotherapy clinics
7. Complimentary medicines of all kinds
