Al Meera Consumer Goods Company announced that to combat the spread of coronavirus, new rules were introduced in order to enter the shopping market. All branches of Al Meera now require consumers and shoppers to wear face masks while in stores and to abide by the social distancing rules introduced by the government. Those violating the rules and not wearing face masks will be denied entry.
“In light of the continuing spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) and in line with Al Meera’s precautionary measures to provide a safe shopping experience, we will no longer allow shoppers without face masks in our branches, effective Friday, April 24th. Please ensure that you bring your face masks with you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for understanding.” Al Meera added to their official Twitter account.
This decision is effective from 24th April 2020.
