Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani order to cut 905 essential goods in Qatar due to the outbreak.
It will also make it easier and cheaper for the people of Qatar to get the essentials. Amir’s proposal is to reduce the prices of essential commodities for six months.
Essential food items such as medicines, medical equipment, medicines, meat, oils, pastries, cheese, milk, and fish are listed. The list also includes face masks, sterilizers, soaps, personal hygiene, and household hygiene items.
The order is being executed in cooperation with the Qatar Customs Authority, Qatar Ministry of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce. The Qatar news agency reported that the Ministry of Commerce has uploaded the price list on its website.
