In a Tweet, the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has said that anyone aged 12 years and above who had their second dose more than 6 months ago is eligible for the booster dose.
According to the MoPH, the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine booster dose is as follows:
- 75% protection against mild to moderate infection.
- 90% protection against severe infection or death.
