COVID-19 Vaccine Age Group Lowered To 40 Years

The Ministry of Public Health lowered the age group eligeable to take the COVID-19 vaccien to 40 years of age. Until two days ago, the age group was 50 years. 

Currently, the groups eligible to take the vaccine are anyone at 40 years or older, individuals with moderate chronic medical conditions, healthcare workers, primary personnel in ministries, and education staff. 

People eligible for the vaccine will be contacted by Primary Health Care Corporation to make an appointment. People in the 40 year age group will be given priority for appointments for the next 3 to 4 weeks.
