Doha Bank and the Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSFA) at the Ministry of Culture and Sports announced the launch of the 15th edition of Al Dana Green Run 2020, which will be held on February 15, from 12noon to 5 pm at the Aspire Zone.
The 3km race which is open to the public will include various categories, including males and females aged under 18 years, males and females aged over 18 years, males and females aged over 35 years, male and female professional athletes, families (at least three members), people with special needs, and Doha Bank, employees.
The winners of the first five places out of these categories will receive distinct awards, and 10 winners from the audience will be randomly chosen. Besides, the event will also feature a variety of entertainment activities such as face painting, a music session, drawing and coloring workshops, as well as football and basketball competitions.
Addressing the media, Doha Bank’s Head of Administration and Properties Department, Ahmed Al Hanzab, said:
“Doha Bank’s ultimate purpose of organizing such event is to promote a healthy lifestyle among the individuals of Qatar in cooperation with Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSFA) at the Ministry of Culture and Sports which is working to achieve its vision “Towards a Conscious Society with an Authentic Conscience and a Healthy Body”.
