It’s an exciting time of the year, as Sasol alongside the Ministry of Municipality and Environment represented by the Public Parks Department (PPD) and ORYX GTL have come together to organize ‘Fun Days’ with Qatar e-Nature.
We at This Is Qatar are the official Media Partner and this is the first event we are sponsoring for 2019, together with Vodafone Qatar as the Official Telecommunications Partner.
The event will be spread across the seven municipalities in Qatar, at different park locations throughout these municipalities. The event is also supported by All and About Qatar, Flik Cinemas, Gymmito Fitness Club, Baladna Park, KidZania Qatar, and Megapolis Qatar.
Together with the sponsors and supporters, we have a variety of family-fun activities lined up for you, such as:
- Photography Workshop by This Is Qatar
- “Small Steps, Healthy Habits” Floor Game by Sasol
- Augmented Reality Game by Vodafone Qatar
- Pottery painting by All and About Qatar
- Sporting Activities by Gymmito Fitness
- Flower Planting by the Public Parks Department (PPD)
These activities combined promote Qatar’s natural biodiversity and raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment.

Our photography workshops will be from 2:45-3:15 every Friday at each park. Each week we will bring in an experienced photographer in the industry that will cover the basic know-hows, how to set up the camera, and how to use the basic equipment. If you are passionate about photography and want to learn all the tips and tricks behind taking stunning photos, then this workshop is for you!
You will also have the chance to win some exciting prizes, such as mobile phones, Flik cinema tickets, entertainment vouchers and many more.
