Gadget Review – Samsung Galaxy S9.

The much talked Samsung Galaxy S9 has hit on the market resting all the rumors.  With better features and up gradation than its predecessor, S9 is much more appealing and stunning with its 5.8-inch screen, high-tech camera on the back capturing live photos without disruptions, robust framework, and robust applications. The display is brilliant with facial and finger identity lock feature along with dual speakers for a booming sound. Among the leading flagship smartphones available in the market, Samsung Galaxy S9 will inevitably create an impact with its new technology especially on the camera section, even though it may look much like a remodeled Samsung Galaxy S8.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is very similar in looks, build and design making it difficult to differentiate that of S8 on a general look by having a dimension of 147.7 x 68.7 x 8.5 mm. Samsung has genuinely reacted to the feedback of S8 model keeping the sleek looks of metal and glass combination intact in the present model with pressure sensitive home button ingrained in the home screen and a button on the left for Bixby.

Its predecessor S8 had some severe issues with the biometric security features that had given a hard time for its users. However, Samsung Galaxy S9 has the much-improved version of the fingerprint scanner, iris scanner, and facial recognition. As per the technical features, the all-new security features will work almost fifty percent quicker with thirty percent increased accuracy.

(Secondary Camera: 8 MP (f/1.7, 25mm, 1/3.6″, 1.22 µm))

The camera of the Samsung S9 will be in the limelight for ‘The Camera Reimagined campaign’ advertised by Samsung prior to the release of the Smartphone. However, Samsung S9 has the most impressive camera so much talked about, justifying the official campaign. Overpowering Huawei having the record for the fastest lens, Samsung S8 and S9 now enjoys twenty-eight percent more light on its camera. The S9 model can compete with Sony’s flagship Xperia phones for its feature of capturing super slow motion video shooting an incredible 960fps. The primary up-gradation has focused on the adjustable aperture that can let it auto switch between f/2.4 and f/1.5.
