Yes, precautions include stocking up on necessities and maintaining hygiene; however, maintaining good health has a lot to do with food, exercise and de-stressing.

Being underweight or overweight can adversely affect your organs. Try to maintain a healthy weight to keep your cholesterol, blood pressure and insulin levels balanced.
- Get adequate sleep.
Sleeping for 8-9 hours daily allows our body to rest our organs. Providing proper rest to yourself can boost your mood, health and immunity.
- Take steps to avoid infection, such as washing your hands frequently and cooking meats thoroughly.
Maintaining a hygienic routine daily already lowers your chances of contracting communicable diseases. Taking precautions like thoroughly washing hands, cooking meats at high temperatures and sanitising regularly can positively affect your health.
- Try to minimize stress.
De-stress yourself by meditating, exercising or listening to music. Stress causes our body to have unbalanced blood pressure levels, adversely affecting our immunity.
