The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) carried out the ‘Al Furjan’ campaign, during which residential areas and neighbourhoods were disinfected in Al Daayen and Umm Salal municipalities as part of a major campaign which is running across the municipalities to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The effort were made by the ‘Committee for Volunteering Work Initiative’ campaign by MME in cooperation with the Qatar Red Crescent Society’s (QRCS) volunteers, to maintain hygiene at public places to ensure the health and safety of residents during the coronavirus outbreak. They targeted important facilities and establishments, internal streets of residential complexes, and the areas of Al Furjan (neighbourhoods) and its main streets.
