The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has announced that all public parks will be reopening from 1st July 2020 as part of the second phase of gradual lifting of restrictions.
The Ministry tweeted that the visitors should adhere to all precautionary measures such as activating Ehteraz app, undergoing temperature reading and social distancing procedures.
Visitors should also follow the instructions of security personnel and should ensure the safety of children. In this regard, the Municipality of Al Khor & Al Thakhira has started preparations for reopening of parks and beaches to visitors and the public.
Al Sheehaniya Municipality, represented by the Services Department, is preparing to open public parks through a comprehensive campaign to clean all of its parks.
