The Ministry of Interior (MOI) advised citizens and residents of Qatar about the harmful causes of leaving hand sanitiser or liquid sterilizer in their vehicles.
“For your safety, do not leave hand sanitizer in your car. It may cause a fire hazard in case of extremely hot temperature.” MOI tweeted.
Due to the flammable nature of alcohol-based sanitizers, MOI added that it may cause a fire hazard in case of extremely hot temperatures.
