The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) issued Tuesday a decision to prohibit Shisha/hookah in all restaurants and cafes operating in the country, starting from today until further notice.
MOPH statement stated that the decision comes in light of the current health conditions as well as in line with preventive measures to prevent infection with Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Ministry’s statement stressed that anyone who violates this decision will be held accountable.
The MOPH urges all entities and individuals to follow preventive measures to ensure their safety and the safety of the community, refer to the Ministry’s website www.moph.gov.qa for all information and resources about the COVID-19 that are available in several languages, or call the toll-free number 16000.
