MoPH: More Than Half Of Adults In Qatar Are Fully Vaccinated

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced that more than half of the adult population in Qatar are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, marking huge achievements in the effort to limit the spread of Coronavirus in the country.

15,728 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the last 24 hours. The National COVID-19 Vaccination Program has administered 2,716,670 COVID-19 vaccine doses have since the start of the program.

  • 50.7% of the total population (16 and above) have received both doses.
  • 86.9% of people over 60 years old have received both doses.

The mRNA Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines available in Qatar, and one is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the second of two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.
