The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani on Monday paid an inspection visit to Hamad International Airport, during which His Excellency reviewed the precautionary measures and preparations made by the competent authorities in the state to combat the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
His Excellency also inspected the security workflow and the electronic gates at the Passports Department, the health procedures, thermal screening systems applied at the airport, and Hamad Medical Corporation clinic to limit the spread of the epidemic.
His Excellency was accompanied by a number of senior officials of the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Interior, Qatar Airways and other related sectors.
