Qatar’s national football team has secured another win at the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football Gold Cup. Here, they played as a guest team where they beat Grenada 4-0 in Houston.
Abdulaziz Hatem put Al-Annabi in the lead 11 minutes into the game after a mishap from goalkeeper Jason Belfon saw the ball land perfectly at the Qatari’s feet.
Striker Akram Afif scored the second goal when he curled the ball in from the edge of the penalty box.
Mohammed Muntari then scored with a header that landed in the back of the net, with the final score coming from Qatar’s top striker Almoez Ali who scored 11 seconds after the second half whistle.
With 2 games now finalised, Qatar has gained 4 points at the Gold Cup.
The team’s last game against Paraguay ended with a draw at 3-3.
