Qatar schools and universities are planning to set up online classes for students.
Due to the suspension of schools and universities to curb the spread of COVID-19, some schools and universities are worried about a schedule back-log.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education – in a Qatar TV programme mentioned the possible alternative of virtual education to cope with the suspension of schools and universities.
“I wish the return of classes soon but if the suspension of classes continues we will resort to the use of technology of virtual classes as an alternative which we have and it will be applied on schools and universities,” he said.
