The Grand Finale of the Shop Qatar Fashion Show. We call it the dramatic international fashion show with reflections of cultures. 12 Designers from different countries “India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Philippines, Spain, Morocco, Lebanon, Pakistan, Mexico and Turkey” come together to flair their collections on the Runway to emblaze the spectators in Qatar.
In fashion, there is more to what meets the eye, The usage of fabrics and the cuts and the ruffles and the infusion of traditions and culture and a lot more. The dress in itself tells us a story. The show had a mixture of couture dresses to handsomely tailored suits to pret-a-porter to traditional bridal wears.
After all, a fashion piece is meant to carry a statement and be fun and fascinating. The suits designed by Pakistani designer Emraan Rajput moves from boardroom to elegance ease creating a sharp and dynamic look. Designer Maria B’s bridal collection shouldn’t just be called elegant and chic; it was the beautiful stylistic melange dresses with flattering embroidered motifs that would make any bride go the extra mile with the look.
Designer from Lebanon, Fouad Sariks gave us a beautiful vivid visual of his couture collection. His collection was richly decorated and looked exotic with stunning silhouettes. Who couldn’t love to have a contoured look?!? This Indonesia designer took us by surprise with his kind of avante garde hairdressing to his bridal collection with hints of fur.
Moving onto the elegant and yet flamboyant collections of the evening of The Shop Qatar’s International Fashion Show. Designers from India, Spain, Philippines , Mexico, Morocco brought in the most that would make any girl look like a gorgeous doll. Designer Alejandro Resta’s collection is a reflection of Spain in itself, the necklines and usage of ruffles take us back in the day in Spain.
The most noteworthy moment of The Shop Qatar International Fashion Show was when the celebrity stars Maya Ali and Imran Abbas walked the ramp for Maria B and Alejandro Resta respectively. What wasn’t to love about the dresses by Thaher Baqer and the dramatic model who walked the runway with one of his glitzy glam and sleek dresses with the oh la la moment, it was sure entertaining and lovely, and it did take the dress to the next level of visualization.
