The biggest Summer in Qatar program this year is reaching its culmination and to mark its end – the 8th South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) will be held in Qatar for the first time with over 200 celebrities from Indian cinema attending the two-day event on August 15 & 16.
Legendary actors Chiranjeevi and Mohanlal will be the guests of honor for the event, which will be held at the Lusail Indoor Arena, hosting close to 8,000 people. The two-day event is split into 4 languages; August 15 will host Kannada and Telegu and August 16 will host Malayalam and Tamil.

Malayalam: Prithviraj Sukumar, Tovino Thomas, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Saniya Ayappan, Vijay Yesudas and Sithara
Tamil: Anirudh, Dhanush, Trisha, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jayam Ravi, Kushboo Sundar, Sarath Kumar, Radhika Sharath Kumar, Mirchi Shiva

Kannada: Yash, Rachitha Ram, Simran, Sonika Gowda, Sai Kumar, Advith Shetty, and Nidhi Subbaiah

A plethora of stars is expected to perform during the award function. According to the organizers, the performers include Devi Sri Prasad, Shriya Saran, Raai Laxmi, Oviya, Andrea Jeremiah, Nikhila Vimal, Nidhhi Agerwal, Manvitha Harish, Shanvi Srivatsava, Ashika Ranganath, Sharmiela Mandre, Saniya Iyappan, and Anushree.
